Unit8 At Christmas (fun time, grammar time & song time)

　　教学目标：1，学生能够会读、会说、会用first, next, then, finally，会说Merry Christmas! 并能在实际情景中运用。

　　2，培养学生小组合作的能力。

　　3，让学生能够注意到中西方在节日方面的差异。

　　教学重难点：1，学生能够正确使用first, next, then, finally以及Merry Christmas。

　　2，学生能够将课堂上所学运用到实际生活情景中。

　　教学法：任务型教学法，小组合作法

　　教学过程：

　　Step 1 Warming up and Revision

　　1.      T-Ss greetings

　　2.     chant: First, first, run, run, run. Next, next, jump, jump, jump. Then, then, cry, cry, cry. Finally, finally, laugh, laugh, laugh.

　　【设计意图】：学生在朗读chant的时候配上动作，可以加深对英语chant的理解。

　　3.     当学生沉浸在欢快的chant 节奏的时候，T：Shh, Father Christmas is coming. He is putting a present into Mike’s stocking. (T出示图片)接着，T出示story time里的四幅图，让学生用first, next, then, finally描述一下Mike一家是如何过圣诞节的。

　　【设计意图】：作为复习story time的这一环节，除了让学生大胆用英语表达之外，还为接下来的新授做了铺垫。

　　Step 2 Presentation

　　1.      Grammar time

　　(1)    介绍完Mike一家过圣诞节之后，T asks: Do you like Christmas? 学生回答。T: I like Christmas too. I hope I will have a happy Christmas this year. So I make a Christmas plan. Look at Miss Zhao’s plan.请学生跟着老师一起读一读计划。

　　【设计意图】;跟着老师一起朗读老师的计划，拉近师生之间的距离，同时让学生感受老师朗读时的语音语调，尽量去模仿去跟读。

　　(2)    T: What about you? What do you do at Christmas? 让学生说一说他们在圣诞节的时候会做的事情。由此导入到邀请学生们小组合作制作他们的Christmas plan.(PPT给出一些tips)

　　(3)    学生们以组为单位，轮流展示他们的Christmas plan. 根据T给出的rules,每组派一个代表选出最佳计划。

　　2.      Song time

　　学生的计划里提到了sing Christmas songs, T asks: Do you want to enjoy a Christmas song? The song is We wish you a Merry Christmas. 学生和老师一起合唱这首歌。

　　3.      Fun time

　　(1)   T: What a nice song! I have a card for you. T出示card. T: Is it nice? Do you want to make a nice card? 老师邀请学生学做卡片。

　　(2)   观看一段老师制作卡片的教学视频，然后回忆制作卡片的四个步骤。学生制作卡片。

　　(3)   请一位学生简单说一说自己是如何制作卡片的。

　　【设计意图】：做卡片还是比较简单的，主要是体现学生能够用英语说出做卡片的四个步骤。这样，一边说步骤，一边做卡片，有助于学生加深印象。

　　Step 3 Consolidation

　　(1)   Christmas dream factory

　　T: Your cards are so nice. Do you want to send your cards to your friends? Let’s go to Christmas Dream factory. At the factory, we can send Christmas cards. What can we say when we send cards? 出示Merry Christmas! Here’s a card for you.然后T鼓励学生说一说在Christmas Dream factory里还能做哪些活动。

　　(2)学生举行一个小型的圣诞party， 互送贺卡等。

　　【设计意图】：综合本节课所学的唱歌以及制作卡片，给学生们一个展示的舞台，让他们在活动中进行自评和互评，检测自己所学知识的掌握程度。

　　(3)culture time

　　T: Christmas is a very important festival in Western countries. But in China, Spring Festival is a very important festival. T出示文字与图片，介绍春节里人们的活动。

　　Step 4 Homework

　　1.Write down your own Christmas plan and share with your family members.

　　2.Read the story Christmas shopping on {域名已经过期}.
